    Esc117, Escadrille 117
"Escadrille 117 was founded on May 26, 2003.  A man on Red Baron gave me the idea.  He said that we need a authentic French Squadron.  If you look at Red Baron squadron link pages, there are only 2 main French squadrons.  This squadron was stationed at Remicourt, in the Verdun region."

ESC 48
    Esc48, Escadrille 48
The Escadrille 48, also known as Spa 48 and N 48 is proud to be the lone authentic historical French Squadron in the Red Baron 3D Community.  Historically the 48th's motto was "Chante et Combat" which translates to "Sings and Fights". It was nicknamed "L'Escadron De Combat De Coqs"..."The Fighting Cocks" and bore the screaming rooster logo on most of it's planes. Like most French Escadrilles the 48th thrived with the release of the Spad XIII which would prove to be the greatest French fighter plane of the Great War and arguably the greatest fighter of the war.

The 48th was formed by a few veterans of the Red Baron Community who either are French or just admired the great pilots of France and the famous French Nieuports and Spads in World War 1. The aim of the Escadrille 48 is to preserve its history by representing the squadron as close as possible by using its historical correct colors on all of our crates, using French fighter tactics in battle, and most of all representing France well in the Community. Most members of the Escadrille 48 are respected veterans of the Community though we are however accepting new pilots.  Combat le Boche! Vive la France!

46 Squadron RFC is a unit formed for fans of Red Baron II and Red Baron 3D Multiplayer, who want to fight and win as a team.
